IsRunning for Windows v1.0 Nearing Completion
05/26/2025
IsRunning for Windows v1.0 is nearing completion. I'll be finishing up testing for the app this week, so hopefully will submit the Microsoft App Store release next weekend!
IsRunning was designed primarily to allow grouping of processes & services. So users don't have to scroll throughout task manager to get eyes on specific processes. They can utilize 'pin' to keep certain processes or services at the top, or better yet, 'favorite' them, so they can be quickly filtered using a dedicated favorite button in the toolbar.

IsRunning for Windows in Development
04/26/2025
I am working on a new app for Windows called IsRunning. The purpose of this app is to show filtered process & services via Favorite & Pin functions. Task Manager works well for managing processes/services, but does lack "grouping" of processes and services. I often need to identify numerous processes/services that appear throughout the lists. It can be tiresome to repeatedly scroll through the list over and over again finding these items. With IsRunning, all the "noise" is filtered out, showing you just the items you want to focus on.
Example of listviews of processes & services. Listviews use a left/right visual layout.

Example of gridviews. Gridviews use a top/bottom visual layout.

Example of filtered content by "Favorites". This example shows a shrunken windows, which is how I would plan to use the app, so I can tuck it into a corner and confirm when specified processes/services are running.
